Mr. Smith is a founding member of TCM, Chairman of the TCM Investment Committee. Mr. Smith has over 30 years of experience in the energy and power industries, including more than 20 years with Tenaska. His broad experience includes business development, project development, power company management, natural gas production management, marketing company management, commercial contract negotiations, engineering, mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, and equity placements.

Mr. Smith was previously Tenaska’s Vice President of Corporate Development. Prior to that, Mr. Smith served as Chief Executive Officer of Tenaska International with responsibility for its international power generation development and operating activities. Mr. Smith also served as Vice President and General Manager of Tenaska Canada, where he was responsible for all of Tenaska’s business activities in the Canadian energy markets.

Mr. Smith graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with an M.B.A.

Mr. Frisbie joined Tenaska in 1998 and TCM in 2002. He has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry in finance, strategic planning, business development, accounting, and tax. Mr. Frisbie has responsibility for TCM’s project financings, deal structuring, and capital markets activities for potential acquisitions and divestitures.

Prior to joining Tenaska, Mr. Frisbie was manager of accounting for the non-regulated businesses of MidAmerican Energy Company. Before joining MidAmerican, Mr. Frisbie worked as a certified public accountant in the tax division at Arthur Andersen, LLP, where he served a variety of clients, focusing primarily on the energy industry.

Mr. Frisbie graduated from Buena Vista University with a B.A. in Accounting.

CHRISTOPHER A. LEITNER

Mr. Leitner joined TCM in 2003 and has nearly 20 years of experience pursuing acquisitions and managing divestitures of energy-related businesses. Mr. Leitner leads TCM’s generation team, where he is responsible for the origination of generation investments and the management and optimization of TCM’s portfolio assets.

Prior to joining TCM, Mr. Leitner was Director of Asset Investments at Aquila, Inc. where he focused on transactions involving generation asset portfolios and related infrastructure. Preceding his time at Aquila, Mr. Leitner worked at Koch Industries, Inc., where he was responsible for analysis and due diligence related to transactions in the natural gas midstream, crude oil and agricultural industries.

Mr. Leitner graduated from the University of Nebraska with a B.S.B.A. and from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an M.B.A. concentrated in finance and strategy.

Mr. Schroer joined TCM in 2005 and has over 10 years of industry experience. Mr. Schroer is responsible for accounting, financial reporting, investor relations and reporting, strategic planning, and compliance and administration of TCM’s funds and portfolio companies.
